Nutrition
Nutrition and what you put into your body to fuel it is the key to achieving your goals. Regardless of your goal, you need to get your diet right.
Diet?
It's time to remove the negative connotations of the word diet. It's a pet hate of mine because the truth is, every single person is on a diet. The original meaning of the word diet is (according to http://www.oxforddictionaries.com/definition/english/diet) "The kinds of food that a person, animal, or community habitually eats". The word is now more regularly associated with fad and short term diets, which is fine, but I think we should get back to the original meaning. To achieve the results that we want, we need to partake in a healthy lifestyle that lasts a lifetime, it may need to be adapted in order to achieve our specific, short term goals but there are general principles that should be applied regardless.
Goal
Weight loss, muscle mass gains, having more energy all require the right fuel and liquids going into the body so you can get the most out of your hard work. Honestly, nutrition and physical activity come hand in hand, if you do one without the other, your results will be reduced. LiveFitNow wants to help you achieve your maximum so will guide you in analysing your current nutrition and how you may be able to improve it in the future. We all have our weakness when it comes to foods and drink and we will try and help you come up with healthier alternatives.
